If travelling to beautiful Samoa isn't enough then you absolutely need to book in (advance) for a Troppo fishing adventure! An excellent day out and one of the best things to do on the island! The boat is in a convenient spot to board in the marina and is extremely comfortable and stable, the fishing is absolutely sensational with local knowledge that will ensure a great time, views are beautiful and the expert team onboard really make the experience! Hubby and I had the best time with Hoppo, Tatua and Ollie on Pure Indulgence. What a passionate bunch who work really hard to put you on the fish! Absolute highlight was Hoppo recommended a restaurant to take our catch and they cooked it for us four different ways! Delicious. Only regret was not booking with Hoppo at the beginning of our holiday as we learned A LOT about Samoa and places to visit from him. We'd return to Samoa solely for another Troppo Fishing Adventure. My wife and have been on many fishing charters in NZ and all have been top notch but they have a long way to go to meet the standard that we got with Troppo. From the time we stepped onboard the well maintained boat we were well looked after by skipper Randy and crew Ollie. We both managed to catch some great fish thanks to Randy's knowledge of the area and Ollie's expert advice. A brilliant experience for us both. We highly recommend them.

Had an amazing day out diving. First spot was gorgeous with lots of swim through and corals. Second drop was filled with fish life, pinnacles and stunning clear blue water. First time big game fishing and Greg and crew were just the team to take us out. Plenty of room for the whole family and we were well looked after. Fish weren't biting for the first few hours but just as we started heading back to port - bang! A decent sized sailfish took the line. Turns out it's a bit of a workout to get one of those in, but we did. Tagged and released to fight another day. A great experience, thanks Troppo Fishing.

Hola Greg Hopping. I think your back in Samoa now and if you haven’t heard…from our perspective we kicked ass on our trip with Randy, Oli, Tua and Ian. I landed a beautiful 45Kg Yellow Fin Tuna and a nice Blue Fin Trevally that the hotel chef made Sashimi and Pan fried for us,,,it was absolutely delicious….what a great experience with a great crew..had fun, caught big game fish, got sunburned, got the 1 hour fight in for both to get them on board and dint do any chumming so checked ALL the boxes…everyone was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the company during the down time. When the Tuna were on the hook Oli made it perfect by helping just enough to get us tired but not make it agony so we have our first big game fish story..in any case, we are hopeful we can go out again one day in the not to distant future.
Also... I left 3 bottles of Tequila for the Troppo team that Im fully confident will go to good use

We came to Samoa on a quest: to catch a mahi mahi. Yellowfin tuna leapt high above the waves, but none took the hook. Then, after crisscrossing the ocean, Misha bent into a fish, and 25 minutes later, a 16kg bull mahi clattered aboard in a shower of green and silver flashes. The moral of the story? Best charter fishing experience! My brother and I had an unforgettable time on Pure Indulgence and Get r Done. We spent several days trolling out wide on PI for pelagic species. Popping for Great Trevally in close on GrD. Jigged for Dogtooth Tuna over seamounts and Spanish Mackerel on divers and skirts to top it all off. What a time!!! The whole team is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The Skipper Greg will put you on the fish and Tautua with years of skippering and deckhand experience himself will help you through the rest. Can't thank you enough Team Troppo for putting me on my first Blue Marlin, GT, and Dogtooth Tuna. I Will definitely be back for more!

Our family of novice fisher people had a fantastic time with Troppo Fishing Adventures. Our skipper Gregg made sure we went out on a day that was great for boating and fishing - he took us to all his favourite spots and we hit the lottery with 8 fish - 1 for each of us, most fishing for the first time. We even had the privilege of nabbing a GT which we dutifully returned to the ocean for the next lucky angler!

Second time fishing with Hoppo and Tatua and first time since the border reopened and the boat has had its massive re-fit. Boat is practically new now and is a great platform. We had three days of pretty rough weather but managed to land 25 fish of varying species with pretty consistent action. Hoppo followed the birds all over the ocean and is a genuine keen fisho so wants to see his anglers get the fish. Great value for money and we will be back for sure to try some of the popping and jigging we have missed out on due to the weather. Malo Hoppo and hoping the tourists flock back now Samoa is open again!

Unbelievable experience, THE BEST ! Samoa's borders opened and I was on a plane and back to fish with Hoppo. This was my 4th trip and I got to land a 54kg tuna and release and beautiful sailfish. After releasing a blue marlin on my previous trip, it was once more, a life changing event. Samoa is teeming with sea life, but if it's not on the chew on the day you would be very unlucky. What a boat, what a crew ! Thank you all.

We did a full day charter on Pure Indulgence. We had a fantastic day of fishing! Caught a once in a lifetime monster 67.5kg YFT, which is now the current Samoa Ladies Record. A range of species caught including 3 big yellowfin tuna, 6 Spanish mackerel and rainbow runners. Amazing! Greg, Dan, and Joey were great hosts and very attentive. Will be back again to fish with these guys for sure.

We fished as a couple with Troppo for 5 days in April. We had an amazing time! Greg's hospitality was second to none from the planning stages of our holiday until the end (even when things didn't go to plan) Loota was very entertaining and worked hard to find our target species. We got some great fish and were treated to some awesome scenery. Daniel worked the deck and ensured we were always comfortable. Would give the whole team at Troppo 6 stars if we could! Make a yearly trip from where I work in Kuwait over to Samoa.Why you may ask? 1) I always have a excellent time fishing with Troppo Fishing, 2) Lot of good fishing - marlin, dorado, yellowfin, dog tooth, wahoo, dorado, sailfish, 3) People on Samoa are great, 4) Great weather, 5) Nice relaxing time - and I could go on a bit. When you get ready to go to Samoa and want to try your hand at fishing look up Troppo Fishing. They'll take care of you and put you on some fish. I've never been disappointed.
