GOING TROPPO & MIXING IT UP

This was Mike and Paul's third trip to fish with us in Samoa.

After catching 60kg yellows and 150kg blue marlin on previous trips, the focus this time was GT's and masi masi. The boys started with a trolling session over th 2000m line that produced a tasty catch. Then we headed inshore to one of our favourite sections of shallow reef to pop for GT's. From the first cast it was on. After a mighty battle Paul landed and then released a solid fish of approx 30kg. The action continued with both boys releasing multiple fish. Mike even managed to find a solid brassy trevally amoungst the swag of GT's. It was a great afternoon and as Paul exclaimed after releasing the last GT of the day.. Popping GT's is..
