2022 SIGFA "LEGENDS TOURNAMENT"

This month SIGFA held our annual FISH TO THE MAX "LEGENDS TOURNAMENT"and what a great day it was. In memory of past club legends, nineteen boats competed for the coveted trophy along with cash and prizes donated by our tournament sponsors Tanoa Clothing, Taula Beverages and NBS, The National Bank of Samoa. Plenty of fish were landed with mahi mahi, YFT and wahoo making up the bulk of fish weighed. Two blue marlin and two GT's, giant trevally were released. The competition was close with only a five points seperating 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. Team Fua II took out top place by hitting the 4000m line and landing multiple mahi and two solid yellows.

Fua II, Second Chance, Yellowfin II, Pure Indulgence & Selesetina made up the top five placings.

Well done to all teams.

The next SIGFA "FISH TO THE MAX" is scheduled for Saturday the 1st of October.
