Neil Lands His First Big Yellowfin Tuna

The other day "The Samoa Surfing Guru" Neil who along with his better half Galen owns Manoa Tours, gave me a call and asked if we could put him on his first big YFT. The next day we ducked out to our marks just over the 2000m line and bang, Neil was on the fish. It was a brutal fight lasting just on three hours. We all thought it must be a record YFT. But upon getting the fish to the boat we saw that it had been fowl hooked just under it's dorsal fin. Well done Neil. A 47kg yellow fowl hooked..That's about as hard as it gets!!...
