Samoa's Borders Opening August 1st 2022

TEAM TROPPO IS READY TO ROCK

In readiness for Samoa's reopening of her borders to international anglers and travelers, Team Troppo has been busy refitting and refurbishing our entire fleet. Taking advantage of Samoa borders being closed for the last 27months, we have just completed work on both our 35ft Bertram "Pure Indulgence" and our 26ft Twin Vee "Get Er Done". We also have a new addition to our fleet "Reef Chief".

PURE INDULGENCE

After a 14month cosmetic rebuild and a complete refit our awesome flagship is a brand new boat.

Pure Indulgence is birthed in Apia Marina. She is a 35ft Bertram. FlyBridge Cruiser. The perfect Big Game and Sport Fishing boat for those anglers looking to target large pelagics such as blue and black marlin and XL yellowfin tuna. Of course species such as mahi mahi, sailfish, wahoo, spanish mackerel, dogtooth tuna and giant trevally can also be a regular part of your catch. Popping and Jigging are also catered for. It's simply a matter of which species you wish to target and how you prefer to catch them on any given day. PI is the perfect boat for those anglers looking to land multiple species in one day. She is also the perfect charter boat for families and larger groups who simply want to experience fishing in Samoa. She's super safe, very comfortable and licensed to carry up to 10 passengers.

Furuno Electronics - 2 x 12" TZ Touch (T2 & T3) systems incorporating GPS (CMAP & Navionics),

Sonar/Fish Finder (3kw transducer), 3D Side Scan, Radar, Auto Pilot and Air Mar Weather Station

ZipWake - Automatic Stabilizing System

Pure Indulgence is scheduled to be launched during the last week of July and has already been booked for the majority of August. She is now available for charter as of Saturday the 27th of August 2022

GET ER DONE

Get Er Done is also based out of Apia Marina. She is a 26ft Twin Vee (cat), walk around, centre console.

GED is an awesome fishing and diving platform that has also undergone an extensive refit .

Having twin hulls, she is very stable. The perfect boat for solo anglers, couples or small groups looking to get close to the action fishing STAND UP. With a large, flat, forward deck she is purpose built for anglers who wish to target GT's "Giant Trevally" casting poppers and flies along the fringing reef. Floating baits for Spanish mackerel and jigging for dogtooth tuna over local seamounts can also be explosive. Offshore trolling, targeting sailfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi and wahoo over the deeper drop offs can also provide terrific action.

GED is licensed to carry up to 4 passengers.

REEF CHIEF

Reef Chief is a 16ft, Dual Console, Kingfisher. She is purposely built to cater for those anglers and tourists who simply want to stay "inside the reef" and explore the many lagoons that surround Samoa's coastline. She is on a trailer, so remote locations are possible.

If you are solo angler who wants to target shallow water lagoon species or if you simply want to cast a line, catch a fish and have a swim while not getting tossed around in a boat at sea, Reef Chief is the boat for you.

Reef Chief will be available for charter as of Monday the 1st of August 2022
