Team Troppo Wins SIGFA "Fish To The Max" Tournament

Last weekend, Capt Randy, Tatua and Olsen decided to compete in our monthly SIGFA FTTM Tournament.

The boys departed Apia marina at 5am and headed east to a far off seamount where they tagged and released a spritely Sailfish. Then as they came back along the 1600m line a juvenile blue marlin nailed the Pakula Rat running on the long corner. After a 15min fight Olsen had his second billfish tagged and released by Tautua. Both boys also landed a couple of solid mahi mahi going 16kg and 11kg respectively.
